Our Process

01 Initial Consultation

Every successful project starts with a conversation.

We'll take the time to understand your vision, lifestyle, budget and design goals while discussing the opportunities and constraints of your site. You're welcome to share inspiration images, sketches or ideas that help communicate what you're looking to achieve.

Following our initial consultation, we'll provide a detailed fixed-fee proposal outlining the scope of work before any design begins.

Once you're ready to proceed, we'll continue refining the brief through Zoom, phone or email as required. This collaborative process ensures we have a clear understanding of your project before developing your concept sketch plans.

02 Concept Design

Using the information gathered during our consultation, we'll develop an initial concept tailored specifically to your site, lifestyle and design brief.

Your concept design will include professionally presented floor plans and realistic 3D perspectives, allowing you to clearly visualise your future home, its layout, proportions and overall character before committing to detailed working drawings.

The concept plans can also be used to obtain preliminary quotations from builders, giving you valuable insight into construction costs and helping you make informed decisions before progressing to the next stage of your project.

We then work closely with you to refine the design until it feels right. Through collaborative Zoom design sessions, you'll be able to watch changes being made in real time, making the design process interactive, efficient and enjoyable.

03 Construction Drawings

Once your concept design has been finalised, we'll prepare a comprehensive set of construction drawings tailored for construction and building approval.

This detailed documentation includes architectural plans, elevations, sections and construction details, together with the required energy efficiency assessment. These drawings provide builders with the information needed to accurately price and construct your project.

Throughout this stage, we'll liaise with your builder, private certifier or local authority as required, ensuring the documentation meets approval requirements and helping the process progress as smoothly as possible.

04 Building Approval & Construction Support

With your construction documentation complete, we'll assist in preparing your project for building approval.

We work closely with your builder, private certifier and other consultants throughout the approval process, providing any additional architectural information required to help achieve a smooth and timely approval.

Once approval has been granted, your builder can commence construction with confidence, knowing they have a comprehensive set of drawings and supporting documentation.

Our commitment doesn't end once the drawings are complete. Should questions arise during construction, we're always available to provide advice and clarification to help keep your project moving forward.

05 Construction Support

With approvals in place and construction underway, we're available to support both you and your builder throughout the build.

Should any questions arise regarding the drawings or design intent, we're happy to provide clarification and additional information to help keep construction progressing smoothly.
